Retreat Experiences I Offer

  • Rest, Restore, Renew

    Rhythms of Spiritual Self Care

    Rest, Restore, Renew

Matthew 11, in The Message, encourages us to "learn the unforced rhythms of grace" so that we may "learn to live freely and lightly." But the truth is, most of us ain't got no rhythm. And we sure as heck don't feel FREE. More often than not, we are overscheduled, under-rested, and flat-out SPENT. Spend a day or a weekend with Lorie learning and practicing these three important rhythms of renewal.

  • The Pathway To Peace

    Living the WHOLE Serenity Prayer

    The Pathway To Peace

Reinhold Niebuhr, in his famous poem, The Serenity Prayer, asks that he might learn to live with hardships one day at a time, in order that he "may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next." Join Lorie as she digs into this prayer over an encouraging day or weekend through teaching, discussion, experiential exercises, and prayer.

  • He Calls You by Name

    Identity In Christ

    He Calls You by Name

The very first time we are ever called, we are called by name. Names identify us. They tell us who we are. They tell us who we could be. That is why calling is not only a matter of being and doing what we are but also of becoming what we are not yet but are called by God to be. Join Lorie in a day or weekend of examining not only WHAT you're called, but WHO you're called TO BE.

    Healing the Heart

Did you know that when the Bible talks about the "heart," it's not just talking about your emotions? Both the Hebrew and Greek words for "heart" refer to that which is at the core of a person—their emotions, beliefs, will, and spirit. Join Lorie as she examines how to experience spiritual and emotional healing and health by focusing on all four.

Join Lorie to learn more about the stages of spiritual development, why we get stuck, and how to press in rather than fall back.
