With an Hour to Spare

It is 11:30, and I have finished all four chapters I hoped to complete during my time here at The Convent.  With an hour to spare.

Let me just say that again:

I HAVE FINISHED ALL FOUR CHAPTERS WITH AN HOUR TO SPARE.

*happy dance happy dance happy dance happy dance*

God has been good—he has met me here in a mighty way, and I am grateful.  I am grateful, as well, to all who have contributed to and prayed for my time here.  You know who you are, and I love you.

*DEEP, TIRED BUT EXCITED SIGH*

I am on track.  One more chapter and the rough draft of my formal proposal to complete before school is out.  (The thought of which has made me a new proponent of year-round school.  SHHHH!  Don’t tell my kids!)  Six weeks.  This feels doable.  We shall see.

I hope you’ve not grown weary of praying, because I’m still going to need it!

Yeah!!! God is so good and so faithful. I’ve been praying for you and will not start praising God for the grace He gave you for this step. Keep walkin’!!

    Lots of love.

yippee! congrats on meeting that goal. right-foot, left-foot… one step at a time. You are doing great!!

yes vote in favor of year-round school 🙂 kids wouldn’t have to put up with me all summer. it’s a win-win situation!

  3. lisa–the progression has been left foot, right foot, left foot, flat on my back. have slept for most of the last three days when I wasn’t working all day saturday!

    thanks for the encouragement!
