    Preaching and Speaking

As a speaker and writer, Lorie is transparent, humorous, and straightforward—coming at her content from a place of place personal reflection, biblical truth, and divine insight. Her teaching is both emotionally engaging and full of practical application for real people living real lives.

Lorie spent twenty years on the counseling and pastoral staff of a large, non-denominational church in Columbus, Ohio, where, over her her time there, she has provided honest, biblical teaching for staff, leaders, workshops, retreats, conferences, and weekend services.

Drawing on her experience as both a pastor and a professional counselor, Lorie speaks on a variety of topics including spiritual formation, marriage, parenting, emotional health, inner-healing, and counseling-related issues such as depression, fear and anxiety, co-dependency, and family systems. In addition, Lorie has lead women’s and co-ed groups for over 20 years, teaching and leading on topics related to marriage, parenting, health, and spiritual formation.

With over 30 years of speaking experience under her belt, Lorie is comfortable speaking in any setting for any size audience. She welcomes the opportunity to speak to small and large conferences, retreats, and workshops.
